Hey Jessica! I just wanted to let you know I have just received my invitation to serve in Zambia with the RAP program! We leave August 1, so it is coming up soon! I am looking forward to meeting everyone, and if you have any packing advice please share! I haven't really found anyone else who is leaving in August with me yet, but I am gonna keep looking until I find out where they are hiding, lol. I've been loving your blog so far, and it is even more fun to read since I will be there soon! Hopefully I'll see you soon :)

ReplyDeleteCongrats Jessica! Hope we'll meet at some point! If you have any specific questions let me know! As far as packing, I realized I brought too many clothes, and could have used more space on things like shampoo and conditioner or other toiletries that are expensive and tricky to find her. And things to decorate/organize your house (hanging closet organizers are good). I know it sounds crazy and none of us listened when we were told- but PACK LIGHT! You get a ton of books and other crap during training, and you regret having so much baggage to juggle and carry around!
